Dr. Asmita Patel, MD, is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with over 20 years of experience in ultrasound-guided vein procedures, venous insufficiency diagnosis, and treatment. She is a valued member of the CVVA team in Illinois, where she brings extensive clinical expertise and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Dr. Patel earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2000. She then completed her medical degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago and finished her residency training at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL, a Level I Trauma Center, in 2007.

Following her residency, Dr. Patel has continued to serve as an Attending Physician at Advocate Christ Medical Center, where she mentors residents and plays an active role in advancing ultrasound education and clinical training.

Originally from Western Springs, Illinois, Dr. Patel practices across multiple hospitals and care locations throughout the Chicagoland area. Her clinical interests focus on venous insufficiency diagnosis and treatment, with a strong emphasis on improving patient outcomes through minimally invasive, ultrasound-guided techniques.
